The King was here! Well, at least Big Tim was here!

Yes, Big Tim came for a visit. It was a quick visit – but there was no doubt he was here. I love my brother, really, I do. But the boys love him more. We also love Sheena – but she wasn’t able to come and we were bummed!! She makes Big T SOOOOO much better! (love you,Timmer!)

Once he finally got here (ahem), the party started. Or at least it did in mom’s mind becasue her kids were together and Rich was getting in that night. In my mind the party started when WE got here and when Big T got here the fact that I am the favorite child was simply proven all over again. in reality, all we did was rush to  the car and meet Sue-Sue and Uncle David – and Jonathan – for dinner at the fine dining establishment of DeLosa’s for pizza. After we were all sufficiently fattened up, we headed back so Big T could give the boys a lesson in paddle boarding. No, not water boarding. That is a TOTALLY different thing. Trust me.

The paddle boarding lesson was short and sweet – get on, sit, paddle. Oh, and try not to fall off when a wave comes. T rocked it!! He said that he had to warn some swimmers because on the way in h had no control so theyhad to move. Ha ha ha!! He had a great wave on his ride in – all on video! Even the part with some awful mom laughing when he kind of sort of wiped out at the shoreline. What kind of an awful mom would do that? (cough) Then Andrew went out. And stayed out. He more than rocked it – he didn’t want to come in. At one point I thought he was headed to Houston and was going to call a few friends to pick him up for me! When Andrew finally came back in, T decided that he was going to surf. I was really happy that we already knew a great ortho and amazing PT. Of course the little bugger stood up on his first little wave. Snot. Since there was a free paddle board….well, then…..dad got on. **crickets** Yes, there is video. I am 99% sure my daughter of the year nomination was thrown out. There is also video of him wiping out – and laughter. It is probably that same awful mom who might be an awful daughter, too. Someone should really call elder abuse on her! Then Andrew went back out….and out. He came back (finally) but wanted to go back out and  was annoyed that nobody would go with him.

It was then that we learned a big lesson…..paddle boards don’t fit in the elevator. More specifically, dad and Big T learned that lesson. The Big T learned that his paddle boards couldn’t go in my car because I had to go get Rich from the airport at 10:55 – but I found out that became 12:35. Fun. Mom learned that paddle boards wouldn’t fit in their car but it was nice to offer – especially because they were very wet. So – they hid behind the parking lot halfwall. We all know that this place is Ft. Knox so unless someone got repelling gear and a cloak of invisibility, the boards were safe. Unless someone who lives here got mad and then all bets were off and then we didn’t know who Tim was. (The fact that we look very much alike would hopefully go unnoticed)

I will stop the Tim adventure here….except to say that, yes, Rich finally made it back here!!!! So the party REALLY started at 1:30 in the morning when we got back from the airport. Andrew was the only one up so he was the favorite relative for a bit!

Next up………..The Boat Ride with “Can I do doughnuts” being said……..
